Weight problems are often linked to other problems too, such as period problems, too much hair growth and acne. These can be embarrassing to talk about. Has anyone made you feel self-conscious about these problems in the past? A beautician, perhaps?
You don't need to feel embarrassed. It is important to talk about these problems. There might even be some simple solutions.
You may have tried ways to lose weight in the past. Intermittent fasting, perhaps? Maybe it worked, but you couldn't keep it up consistently?
There is no need to worry. We don't judge. We understand that we all have our own things going on, and we are all doing the best we can.
You may feel that you don't look good enough. You may not feel good about yourself. It is important that we nip these ideas in the bud. You are great, and we will help you prove it to yourself!

Many of us have limiting beliefs about ourselves, and our bodies. We may think we don't have what it takes to be disciplined. At Total Care, we help you challenge these beliefs and turn them around. Your weak points become your power points!
Before knowing what you need to do, you need to know why you are doing it. This has to come from you - why do you want to lose weight?
Think about this before your first session - it is of the most important parts of the whole programme.
Personal reasons are important. There are health reasons too. For example, weight problems can cause problems with getting pregnant and having a smooth pregnancy. This may not be relevant to you right now, but it probably will be one day. As women, our health not only affects us. It affects our future children too. Does that feel like a pretty big responsibility? We are here to take the pressure off and make this a supportive experience for you.

We empower you with knowledge
Now let's get down to the nitty gritty. What causes weight gain? Have you heard of insulin resistance? There are a few general principles that you need to know about what to eat, when to eat and how to eat. Have you heard about intermittent fasting? Have you tried it previously? It worked, but life happened, and you stopped? What about glycemic index? Processed foods? Refined carbohydrates? Don't be scared. We make it super easy to understand. You have loads of opportunities to ask questions too. In our check-ins and reviews, we go over the important information so that you won't forget.
There is a lot of information that we go through, so you will get Total Care Plans with every review that has everything you need to know.

We make it easy for you
In the end, what you need to do are a few simple things. The key is to build habits and become consistent. We help you identify bite-sized steps you can take to start losing weight. Strategies such as intermittent fasting, learning how to identify healthy foods and finding ways to deal with stress can go a long way. We work with you to make sure these steps are achievable and realistic for you. If it's not practical, then forget about it.
This often requires the support of others. You need your family to be on board. We can talk to them and explain how important their support is to your success. Who knows, it might help them too!
We don't just want you to lose weight over a few months - we want you to know how to remain healthy for your entire life, a long time after this programme ends. We want you to be able to tell your families and friends about it- and one day, you own family too.
